'Quality' of outcomes

The activity values relate to the average effect on life satisfaction to the average person who does a specific activity (e.g. football, employment training). So, while quality is not assumed, a balance of good and bad delivery and high and low quality is in effect represented through the (average) values from the national datasets. The trade-off is that whilst quality cannot be directly linked from the national data to your interventions, we are able to from the larger samples in the national datasets to provide us with a better reflection of how the outcomes impact on people’s lives and how they are valued.
