The values included in the Social Value Bank are based on annual national data sets and so represent the uplift to an individual’s wellbeing, in a given year, for a particular intervention or outcome. It is therefore most appropriate to apply values in full for outcomes generated over a significant part or all of a year as the wellbeing uplift is projected to last throughout the year.
If you have information that someone did not sustain an outcome for the year, you should not claim the value. For instance, if you have data that indicates an individual did not complete an apprenticeship or training course, you should not apply the value(s).
