Health Impact of housing associations community investment activities

New values, released in v2.0, detail the health impact of community investment activities. The research conducted by HACT and SImetrica, funded by Affinity Sutton is published in the report, The health impacts of housing associations' community investment activities: Measuring the indirect impact of improved health on wellbeing.

This research examined seven key outcomes from the Social Value Bank that are pertinent to housing associations’ community investment activity. The analysis revealed that these seven outcomes have a significant impact on people’s health. A monetary value has been placed on these impacts, and those values have been added to the existing ones for the direct impact on wellbeing. The Social Value Bank will be updated in light of these new values, which capture an additional route by which outcomes deliver improved wellbeing. The additional health values for the seven chosen outcomes are presented in the table below:
